What to get the H?

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! :)

 Now to Christmas...

This is my H and I's second christmas together and I'm having difficulty getting him a thoughtful present. My problem is that he doesn't like ANYTHING.... He doesn't have a favorite sport/team, or favorite activity besides guns and paintball. I had bought him a nice jacket for our first year but he doesn't ever wear it... I wear it more than he does it. Anyways, I would love to hear from ya'll about what you got your Hs....

Re: What to get the H?

  • Tickets to a concert perhaps?

  • Thats a good idea! Thanks!

Now trying to decide which band that we both like... He'd kill me if we went and saw Coldplay, for example. LOL.

  • Movie tickets, movies, books etc.  Our second year DH got me matching picture frames for our wedding.  I got him a luggage set since he didn't have one.  Sometime I would love plan a secret get away after xmas for the two of us (within like 3 hours of our house).  This year we decided to just do stockings for each other and just get a new Tivo.  One year I got DH a cross necklace that he LOVED - very guy like one.
  • My DH is getting Pampered Chef items because he is the cook in our house, an iPod, and a handpainted mug with our baby's handprint on it.
  • DH specifically asked for a new digital camera.  So he is getting that and the rest will just be some little trinkets and things that I know he would like.  Good luck!!!

  • What about computer games?  My DH loves those ones where all the guys are shooting each other.  And, a dresser valet/charger.  Those are awesome and DH is getting one this year - one that charges up to 3 things at once.

Yeah, the flat one is cool.  But the one I got is about the si ze of a shoebox, and you can also put your keys, your wallet, change, and stuff like that on it while your phone charges.

Also, I got DH a GPS last year and he loves it!

  • hah, right after you posted the first time I went and looked it up, so I'm sorry for sounding stupid... lol.

But yeah, I like that one too...It's not as expensive as the powermat....

  • It's just something small I'm putting in his stocking, but a wire puzzle from Puzzlemasters. The goal is to get one of the pieces free without bending the puzzle. You have to align the pieces just right. It's only about $10, but I get one every year and he has fun with it X-mas morning while we're watching a movie. I usually get a different one for my dad and my FIL, and then they all swap once they've figured their own out. image

  • Another idea. . . GPS!

  • I got mine a big gift this year, a PS3, plus some pj bottoms, boxers, and a pack of socks, all of which I have already given him.I probably make him some cookies for x-mas just so he has something to enjoy the day of.

If he's hard to shop for just get him practical gifts or make food for him,. like a big tin of cookies or something

  • Thanks again for the suggestions everyone! Yeah, I'm thinking about getting him a charging station, some practical necessities, and maybe a movie or two... oh, and i'll cook him up some goodies. lol.

I just feel bad about going so low-key with his presents when he's buying me a nice wedding band since I haven't found one yet...

  • I getting mine a new watch (since he cracked the glass on his), a new ipod, gym clothes, and new nikes. Last

You could also buy him some more paint balls to put in this stocking.
