(Re)Introducing myself...
Hi ladies,
I found my way over to this board a little while ago, so I figured it's about time I quit lurking and say hello again! I remember a lot of you from the HI Knot board from our wedding planning days... my husband and I got married on the Big Island in July 08.
We just had our first baby in October and I'm enjoying the rest of my maternity leave with our little guy (I'm a teacher and go back Jan. 4th).
I see many of you have little ones of your own or are currently expecting! Congrats to all of you!
I'm excited to join in on the weekly BR updates and share stories/advice from other Hawaii mamas! Some of the other baby boards are a little too scary for me just yet!

We're slowly but surely figuring out this parenting thing!
We have several nieces and nephews and tons of family in CA, but since we moved to NC two+ years ago, we're on our own for the most part.
Dylan's been a pretty easy baby, once we figured out that he had difficulties digesting the proteins in my milk and regular formula... now that we're on a sensitive formula, the screaming after meals has stopped! He's starting to smile at us and talks up a storm (oohs, aahs, cooing, etc.).
Jaime... that's neat that you lived in Raleigh! Yes, Trader Joe's is awesome! We're about 3 minutes from one!
ETA: I meant to put my old knottie name (CAalohabride08) in my first post ... I didn't post very frequently like a lot of you, but I did chime in on the Big Island or give props to Shawn Starr.
