Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Today's parent Vent.
Today's parent had a promotion for subscribers that they can upload a picture of their child and the December issue would be mailed out with that picture as the cover. It was free. After I did my order it gave me the option of ordering extra copies for a fee. I thought this would be the perfect gift for my parents and IL's. I ordered 3 extra copies (my parents are divorced.) When I was filling out the form it gave me the option of having them mailed to different addresses than mine. So I did 3 extra orders, each individual so each set of parents can get their own copy.
My copy of the magazine showed up a week later than everyone else that I know subscribes to it. I kept asking the parents if they've received any magazines in the mail. Nope. A week and a half after mine showed up, a second one came to my place. Weird. I finally broke down and told all the parents about the magazine so they can keep an eye out, since one of them wouldn't be getting theirs. A week and a half later I finally called them to see where it is. The girl told me there were some delays and to wait until next friday (today) and if they weren't there to call back. Sure enough, nothing arrives at anyone's house this week. I call back.
Now they are saying they may not have been printed at all (after telling me to wait till wednesday and call back.. I told her that I highly doubted they were coming since it's been 4 weeks since I received mine and 3 weeks since the second one arriving) and if my 2 extra copies weren't printed they can't reprint them and they will have to give me a refund. I'm really pissed now. These were Christmas gifts. These were a one of a kind thing of the first grandchild. We don't need 2 copies, but I want to keep 1. Now that all 3 sets of parents know about it how do we decide who gets it? This sucks.
