  • OMG that's awful! He is definately getting what is coming to him. Poor little girl.
  • Blondiegirl, do you honestly mean to say that all people with mental problems should be killed off?

I'm by no means disagreeing that what that man did makes him a monster, or that he is in need of something beyond the slap on the wrist that so many sex offenders get.  But to lump together people with mental problems and sex offenders is simply offensive.

  • Stories like this break my heart. I feel horrible for that little girl and her family.
  • Yet it will never replace her self-esteem and how she will react towards men the future. Hopefully she has a good shrink to help her. And thank God her parents listened!!!!
  • i dont think marie was saying kill off the mentally handicapped.

I think mental dissability is used as a cop out by far to many.

if anything like that happened to my kati, i will be the judge jury and executioner... then i dont have to worry about him pleading mental issues.

  • NO!!!! I guess I did not word that right-I am talking about the people that do that to children should be all killed off-hell if we killed off all people with mental problems there would not be many people left if the world-including myself-sorry if I offended anyone , Those people (child offenders) make me so mad-I guess my typing got ahead of my thoughts-

  • yes Rachael you are correct-I think it sucks that so many people try to use the "mental problems" as a way to get out of the trouble they are in then when you really have someone that does have mental issues then no one wants to believe it since it is used all the time

  • To do that to a child, whether once or repeatedly over a period of months, is sick. To do that and get some sick enjoyment out of it, honestly to me, makes me think that that person does have something wrong in their head. But does that excuse or explain their actions? Hell no.

It's almost too bad he'll be on death row away from general population. The state wouldn't have to worry about killing him then...the inmates would do their job.  Child molesters are pretty much the low of the low in prison.
  • Phew!  I totally agree that it's an excuse that way too many people use.  The definitions for mental illness and mentally incompent are SO different...nearly nobody who is mentally ill actually qualifies as unble to know the morality of his actions, and especially after so many school shootings being "caused by depression," I get so mad at the way people glop them into one pile.  I don't even have kids and I can imagine going out and getting some sick idiot myself if anything hapened...it just has to be so scary to be a parent.

  • That is horrible....and why DH refuses to let anyone who's not family watch DD. Not that you don't hear horrible stoires of family members doing this sh!t too though.
