Resume Writer Recs?

Hi, everyone.

Has anyone used a resume writer they'd like to recommend?  I'm getting absolutely nowhere with my current one and would love someone who has experience in writing resumes to revamp it for me.

I know Craigslist has tons of people who advertise for it, but I thought I'd ask here for recs.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Resume Writer Recs?

  • If you've ever worked with a recruiter, they'll look at your resume, provide feedback, make changes, etc. so maybe that's the avenue to go before trying to pay someone to write it.

  • If you're part of an alumni program, usually they will have a career center or something similar that provides these type of services for former students.  You might have to pay to have it done, but they might be able to help you find jobs as well.  Or are you part of any professional association or anything else?

  • Hello,

I am a recruiter and view resumes daily and help facilitate the wording and help fix resumes. So if you want send me your resume and I have to say dont pay; the only time that I charge is for VP, CEO & doctors due to the intricate nature of their jobs. Hope that helps!
