All I want to do is sleep and watch movies all weekend...but I have to finish unpacking whaaaaa! I think it is the cold weather that makes me lazy and eat like crazy.
What are you girls up to?
Re: TGIF
I love Hawaii!

Me too Tara!
Tonight is holiday/member appreciation party at the gym so I'm making yummies for that. Tomorrow I'm helping low income kids go clothes shopping first thing in the morning, then putting up the tree and relaxing. Sunday is NOTHING! Yahoo!
I need to get ready to go back to working in the office for the first time since 2 months! Need to get laundry done and figure out which clothes I can/cannot fit into anymore...and then go shopping for maternity clothes if I can't fit into anything...
We've got to start doing our thank you cards this weekend, some grocery shopping and hopefully we can squeeze in some Christmas shopping too!
I miss shopping for normal things and going out to eat! With the wedding planning going on I couldn't really spend anything.
One performance of my Winter Concert (I direct a chorus of 4th and 5th graders) was today....whew! Thank goodness that's over! We have one more performance next week on Wednesday, but the first one is always the hard one to get done. This one was the assemply concert for the rest of the school, and Wednesday's is in the evening for the parents.
Tonight we're getting our tree.....so excited! The MH has to work all weekend
but that's okay, I'm bringing lots of grading home to do anyway. I'll probably sit at Starbucks for a few hours tomorrow and grade tests.
Other than that, I need to rest! This pg thing is exhausting! And we aren't telling anyone except immediate family yet, so I feel like I'm tired and not myself at work lately, but (as far as everyone else is concerned) I have no explanation for it. Luckily this will be a three day weekend for me, solely because I took Monday off for our first appointment and ultrasound!....I can't wait!
DH is visiting and every time he visits, he wants dimsum (apparently Vancouver's is better than Seattle's?) so that is our Saturday plan.
It's supposed to be sunny this weekend (hurray!) so we're going to try and walk everywhere and just enjoy being outside.
Oh, except for the few hours we might have to put aside looking for a house online
Gives me a headache!
it IS! like, *WAY* better. there is no dimsum worth eating in seattle
whereas some of the dimsum i've had in vancouver (in richmond, actually), is the best i've had outside of hong kong - where i learned i actually like dimsum, hah. drool.
i want to do nothing all weekend, but we have dinner plans tonight, need to prepare a dish for a dinner party we're going to tomorrow night, and also make a big batch of lasagna for some girls i'm dyeing yarn with on sunday afternoon. all fun, but sigh, i really just want to sit and read and knit. and sit some more. and sleep.
ha! I was totally going to say the same thing! dim sum in vancouver is excellent - that was my post-race meal after running the Vancouver marathon, ha ha ha.
I hope to kick this cold I have over the weekend, and we have friends coming over for dinner tomorrow. Other than that, I just hope it doesn't snow. Oh, and maybe start my Christmas cards.
Sophia:
Well my mom and MH have been on me to get this done before we send out our holiday cards. So I kinda have no choice, and at least they will be out of my hair.
