Yay! I successfully got through my first ever parent-teacher interviews, and I finished my LTO today. The teacher will be back on Monday, but I have a feeling I will be in for her again.
Parent teacher interviews stressed me out, but they weren't nearly as bad as I thought they would be. Glad they are over though.

Yay! How long were you doing this term?
Mine were last week and they were definitely not that fun. Well most of them were good, there was just a couple trouble ones. Have a drink to celebrate them being over.
I have been in the class since the end of October, so a little over a month.
Most of the interviews were pretty good. Mostly they wanted to meet me and ask any questions they had about the reports. I was surprised at how some of the parents are so hard on the kids. I have an amazing class, but they are just soooooo chatty. When I told some of the parents that they are very respectful but they need to focus more in class, some of them gave their kids the look of death. I guess that is why they are so respectful though.
Another parent was upset that his child was not getting nineties. This student is getting low eighties in everything (which is still an A), and it is only term 1. The parent is already thinking about the child getting into university, which is great but I felt bad for the kid.
No crazy stories though, thank goodness!
Oh and I did have a drink when I went out for lunch with my mom yesterday. It felt great!
