Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Is this rude?
I have a collegue who kind of runs hot and cold. One day she's my bestie, the next I get the cold shoulder. Every other Friday our work unit is down to half staff - 5 ladies (due to EDOs), we work the same schedule so work Fridays together. *Every* Friday without fail, someone, usually this woman, comes around the office at about 11:30 to see if anyone wants lunch picked up. They usually just get fast food or something. I would say that, 8 out of 10 times I decline, but I have been known to place an order. Today she didn't even ask me! Thing is, she asked my co-worker who was sitting chatting with me in my officle at the time. She even stood there while my co-worker searched through her purse for cash. I found it incredibly rude. Am I over thinking this?

Unless she said "Jane do you want me to get you lunch" to specifically exclude you, I think you're over thinking it. I'm reading this as she walked in and asked "Do you want me to grab you lunch" and Jane said yes. She figured you would have said something, like "oh that's a good idea, can you grab me something too" if this was one of the rare times you wanted lunch.

I could have written the same post, it happened everyday with coffee
I don't always had change on me so would sometimes I said no
so she stoped asking, I even said few times something like "I wished I knew you're going to get coffee I really needed one"
but that didn't help unless I was standing beside someone else this girl would always ask
So yeah, it's rude and no you're not over thinking it
I vote for rude and you are not over thinking it.
I wonder what is up with her?
