Just hung up on H - vent
I am just so frustrated. He still lives/works in BR and comes in one night a week and the weekends. So I make plans on the weekends. We were supposed to go get a Christmas tree tomorrow (we were going to go to the cut-your-own place), so I needed a couple of hours. We do this ever year, and it's kind of like our tradition. Then we come home and set it up and decorate and whatnot. We don't ever spend time together except on the weekends, so what does he do?- He schedules something mid-day Saturday and mid-day Sunday. I just don't understand why these thing HAVE to be scheduled when they are, and he is annoyed with me because I keep asking for a reason. I am just super annoy and have to vent.

I'm sorry, that really sucks. I'd be upset too. Especially since you can only see him on the weekends.
Sometimes when MH and I argue over the phone like that and we hang up he usually calls me back and changes his mind. I hope your DH will too.

Totally justified rant, IMO. I hate when MH gets mad b/c I'm asking for a valid explanation to something. It makes me want to throw breakable items at his head.
I hope you guys can work something out for the weekend. I can imagine it must be really hard being apart from each other all the time like that.

Belle, he called back, and didn't change his mind. He is being stubborn and thinks he is right. I am super annoyed and I am not going to give in either. If I were able to this year, I would cut the damn tree down by myself and let him keep his stupid little plans.
