proof I may be strange

I am watching the snow falling outside, and am a little excited that for the first time since I can remember I will have to shovel my driveway tonight!

  • I love the first snow fall (still waiting for it here in Toronto!)

Shovelling the driveway though.... can't say I'm excited for that one Stick out tongue

  • I love snow.  But I was less than excited to have to scrape ice off my window this morning.

Maybe we'll have to put a garage at the top of the to-do list this spring....  I hate brushing off my car.

  • I like snow too.  And I think part of my DH enjoys shoveling our quite short driveway because we just bought our first house this summer.

  • Oh...yes... I lost my enthusiasm when I went outside after work and had to scrape my car with no mitts and a less than warm enough coat.  The driveway shovlling was okay as I met the neighbours for the first time (we've also just bought our house), but man...  I don't think I'll be as excited next time!
  • Haha, thats funny!

I was kinda of thrilled at the idea of having to shovel snow when we moved into our first house last winter. The novelty of it wore out super fast.

  • This is why I bought a condo before DH and I got together.... of course, now we're still IN the condo, but he's just as glad someone else has to shovel the walk.

That said, we got dumped on yesterday, so I have friends who got to shovel three or four times yesterday to keep up.
