My family has always celebrated St. Nicholas Day. As kids we would place our slippers outside our bedroom door before going to bed and awake to find new slippers filled with treats. I decided to continue the tradition with Eva so she found some fuzzy pink slippers outside her door this morning filled with crayons and playdough toys. I also made her these:

The cookies are felt with magnets inside so they stick to the tray and the apron is made from a dishtowel. Eva is loving them! There was only one drawback- because she opened these gifts she assumed she could open all the gifts she came across so she got into a few that were under the tree for Christmas!
