aw i feel left out!
our company christmas party is at the bowling alley this year. My boss doesn't want me bowling due to pregnancy but said I could ask my Dr what she thought.. well my Dr said i should sit this one out.
There are 2 other pregnant girls that decided they're bowling anyway so now i feel like the odd man out!
Oh well.. it will be entertaining to be the drink girl for my coworker friends lol I'm curious to see what kind of looks i get while ordering beers for the rest of the group lol

Random question - why is bowling not okay? Are they afraid you'll lose your balance and fall?

yeah i read online a bunch of places that it was ok as long as you use a lightweight ball but my boss is freaked out that i might get hurt or hurt the baby and my dr said that she doesnt want me to risk slipping or hurting myself in general since my belly will most likely cause me to be off balance and get in the way. Strange i know.
Either way, i would rather not bowl bc my shoulder/back has been really messed up for the past week and is finally now getting better but it still sucks
I should make a shirt that says Beer Belly on it lmao

I think it's more or less just the weight of the ball putting strain on your back & muscles. I dont think neccessarily it has anything to do with the baby.. just your own comfort. Everyone is different i guess.
PS I'm a wimp too lol I bowl with 8lbs.. i moved up from 6 only bc i couldn't fit my fingers in any of the 6lb balls anymore lol

Yesssss... I totally did the same thing with the bowling balls. Haha. My thumb always got stuck in the 6 lb-ers.

Aw, Pam. Sorry you aren't going to be able to participate in the bowling! But at least you will still be able to be a part of the party. It should be fun being the bartender, and the looks you'll get will be priceless!
BTW, love the beer belly shirt idea! That is great!
