DH's family is really hard to buy for so maybe some of you have new ideas?
FIL -
Truck Driver
Over 300 lbs and about 6'6"
Eats anything
Likes movies but owns so many he doesn't even know which ones he has
Loves woodworking (hasn't done it lately because he broke his back)
MIL -
Likes crochet
Buys everything she sees (doesn't really need anything)
Home alone a lot
Loves her dog
Loves to talk on the phone
Very picky about food (but still overweight)
SIL -
Will be 18 in Feb.
Senior in High School
Redneck and proud of it
Owns crappy old truck that never runs
Likes soccer but never makes the team
Runs track instead
NOT at all technologically savy
Doesn't do anything considered 'girly'
Spends all her time lately texting
Any ideas appreciated!

can i just say that I love your description of the family, sooo funny...
FIL- blue ray disc player, DVD storage, something fun like a metal detector or a remote control helicopter (guys LOVE toys..even if they are older)
MIL- magazine subscriptions, get her dog a present and she will be happy, a gift basket of crochet stuff, tickets to an event in the area or maybe a fun attraction that her and FIL can go do together
SIL- Clothes, take her to do something fun to do with her friends, Redneck decals for her truck LOL, umm...stuff for her room, picture frames and a camera to have pics of her friends... Ok thats all i got!

FIL - does he have a portable DVD player for when he's on the road? I've seen them as low as $30 (online).
MIL - does she have big tupperwear bins to organize all the stuff she doesn't need but is going to keep anyway?
SIL - Running shoes/clothes?
foto - Wasn't even trying to be funny. lol. It's all the truth.
I think the helicopter thing might be a really good idea.
magazines might be good for MIL. I hadn't even thought of that.
SIL is picky about her crappy truck, she doesn't want any decals or anything on it. She's already got a camera too and she only wears really expensive shoes. =/.
