Yesterday my very happy baby was a demon child. She would cry if I wasn't in touching distance and would cry if she was sitting down on the floor by herself. She had 4 naps yesterday all an hour long. And wanted to go to bed early. She woke up with a fever at 10pm had some Motrin and a bottle and then wouldn't go back to sleep unless I held her and wouldn't stay asleep unless I was holding her. She slept in our bed last night.
This morning I wake up to my nose being squeezed and when I opened my eyes I got a big "hooray!" and clapping hands. My kid is now incredibly happy and full of all kinds of energy. I can't explain it. She wasn't teething (no drool yesterday and she drools like a st,bernard when a tooth is coming in) She didn't have the fever for very long (maybe an hour) and well she had no other symptoms other than being grumpy. Whatever. It's over. She is now attacking the cat and giggling. I should go save the cat.
Re: So what was that? A blip in personality?
As soon as I read the first part of this post, I figured she may have just not been feeling well. It's awesome that she's back to her self today! Funny, as I read, I couldn't help but think of little Jack Jack from the Incredibles...demon baby! lol
