What is your favorite NYC Tourist attraction??

The touristy thing/place that you LOVE to see/go to even though you feel like the only New Yorker there?

Museum of Natural History!!! I love it! Especially the whale room.

I do feel like everyone there is either a tourist or an elementary school kid on a class trip.

Taking a stroll on a late night through Times Square. (Although the slow walking tourists annoy me to no end), I always felt the energy and the lights had a magical affect, everything is so alive there.

the staten island ferry. the view of the city and the statue of liberty never fails to impress me. my mom & i have even taken my "little sister" abbey (abbey is a mini-schnauzer) on the ferry. and the photo of abbey on the orange bench has been at my desk for years.

I love the Met. I never get tired of walking through the exhibits, even the permanent ones I've seen before.

I love to walk up Fifth Avenue and stop at Rock Center to see the tree and the angels (especially if it happens to be snowing-a rare occurance). I also loved to go to the Seaport after dark to see the decorations and shop, but that was before 9/11. Jsut was'nt the same after that. Another pre-9/111 must see was the tree outside the NYSE.
