Greetings Texans!

Long time no post.  I moved from DFW to Alaska almost three years ago (thank you, Army), BUT in 149 days we will finally be moving back.  So, I thought I would say hi.

Seems like this board died, but I do recognize some of you ;)

Re: Greetings Texans!

  • I remember you!  Are you excited to be moving back?
  • OMG!  yes!  You have an adorable daughter, right?  How are you?

  • I am super excited!  Although, I need to find a job and we have to figure out where we are gonna live.   Seth, I don't even know if you were preg with #2 when I left!  What a beautiful (growing) family.  Maui Wowi!!!! - yes she is adorable.  She will start school when we get back, and she is super excited.  this is the most recent pic I have.

  • I remember you too. Are you separating from the Army when you move back? I'm living in Japan now (thank you Air Force-- sound familiar??) but we like it here. We miss TX though. Your daughter is adorable. I'm the proud mama to one of those sweet things now too! :)
  • Wow - look at all the snow on the house in your picture!
  • I remember you, but mostly because of the cutie daughter and alaska!  welcome back to texas (soon!)

  • Thanks ladies.

Yup, I will be getting out of the Army.  It's been a wild ride, but I'm ready to have a normal life again.  I do love Alaska though.  It is beauuuuuuuuuutiful--sometimes ridiculously cold, but it is not polluted and it is so safe here.  Our biggest threats are animals, not criminals.

Stitchbia?!  You did great work for me--pillows, jackets, other xmas presents.  Congrats on the marriage and little bumblebee.  What a doll!

  • I remember you too!! Nice to see ya! Yay for moving back to TX! How is that little girl of yours?
