The Huskers played Texas in the Big 12 Championship and I think outplayed Texas but we ended up losing by 1 point because of a field goal after the officials put a second back on the clock. Hard way to lose but I think we proved ourselves, at least our defense did. Our defense looked phenomenal and our offense looked crappy as usual. I hope we start our backup QB, Cody Green, in the bowl game because I think he might be our starting quarterback next year. I also hope that Suh gets invited to NY for the Heisman because I think he proved himself Saturday and knocked McCoy out of the race.
We play Arizona in the Holiday Bowl which should be a good game.

What can you say when Alabama just outplayed the Gators? They just wanted it more and manhandeled us. Oh well...Hopefully we will kill Cincinatti in the Sugar Bowl or else I'll never be able to walk out of the house again!
In other news my Wildcats beat USC in the colleseum (sp?)!! Wohoo! It was the first time Zona has beat USC since 2000. Bring it on Sarah for the Holiday Bowl! Hopefully we will have a repeat of the 1998 Holiday Bowl! (Psst we won that time!
) A random note: I was at that Holiday Bowl in the marching band. It was a ton of fun and the Nebraska band and fans were great!
I watched the game Saturday night and I totally thought of you, Sarah! The Huskers got robbed. That game was insane.
The Dolphins beat the Patriots!! It was a super-close game (22-21) and they won right at the end with a 41-yard field goal.
Oregon & Oregon St. played this week and that game determined the Buckeyes' opponenent for the Rose Bowl - Oregon. It'll be the Bucks vs. the Ducks!
Colts are 12-0! Yea!
My friend's dad won a high school coaching award from the Colt's and with it came tickets to this weekend's game. Both are H's have to work (together), so she asked me to go with her! Very excited!
Bama won! It was a great game. (Anna, I was thinking of you the whole time--we are still friends right?
) Now we are Pasadena bound for what should be another great game.
Sarah--I watched the 4th quarter of your game and it was such a crazy one! Nebraska's defense was outstanding--if only the offense could play as well. Will you be cheering for your conference in the BCS game? I just figured you already had the red to be a Bama fan
(if only for one game). And I agree that Suh should be in New York for the way he played.
I hope we go into to Pasadena with our heads in the right place. There is no question that we can beat Texas, but we saw what happened in Atlanta when the Gator's thought they had it won. We can't be over confident or lacking in humilty if we want to do our best.
I normally do cheer for my conference in bowl games but Colt McCoy and Mack Brown really irritated me in their post game interviews. They acted liked they earned the win more than they really did. So, I might actually root for Bama in the game. Either way, I hope your line beats up on McCoy as much as our line did and McCoy better not win the Heisman now.
