Surely someone on this board has been. Is it worth checking out? Are there other big lighted parks around the metroplex similar to this that I'm unaware of? TIA

DH and I went years ago and it was "ok". It's $15/car and I thought that was a little steep. I would rather go drive around neighborhoods for free. I grew up in Interlochen (neighborhood in North Arlington) and every weekend there would be a long line of cars driving through looking at lights.
Yea the $15 + the time and effort to get over there from my area (Mckinney) is making me feel iffy. Thanks for that link. I'm off to consider the options
I live on the lake where the lights are and they expanded it yet again this year. Its over 4 million lights and there is a section that you can get out and walk around. I wish they would make it where you could have boat access. We also go to Interlochen, but that doesn't start until 12/119.
Highland Park is nice too. Carriage rides are great!
The best one I know of is in Athens. I went to college there for a couple years and we loved going. DH and I went this weekend and it's still amazing. It's a bit of a drive, but it's so fun. www.christmasparkathens.com
