When my husband plans an evening and there is nothing left for me to do I can't explain the best feeling I get!!!! Tonight Art has planned everything out. I am going to LA tomorrow. He send me an email with 13 items listend in order of what we need to do. Cooking dinner, packing, going to the gym, etc.
I am going to sit here with a big
on my face!
Re: Let's AW our DH's
DH was diagnosed with diabetes last week with a blood sugar of 576. he was devastated, but has bounced back with resiliency! this morning his blood sugar was 267 and it's mostly due to his eating better and watching carbs/sugar. i am so proud of him!
also, he is really taking steps to make our marriage better and better himself. he's meeting with 2 different pastors at our church once per week, and will start in january with a pastor at another church who helps men deal with lust specifically. i am so proud of zach!
We have a one-car garage, and DH always parks in it--by my choice actually. I've knocked my right side mirror off twice since we've been married, from backing out of the garage! It's fine in the summer, but sucks sometimes in the winter when it snows and I have to take extra time in the morning to get the snow off my car. DH left for work before me this morning, and when I went out to my car a little later, he had already gotten all the snow off of my car for me! It was soooo nice of him to do!
That's awesome! On both parts. I'm glad he's taking the steps to better his health and his marriage! :-)
Eric loves Christmas decorating so much, it's pretty funny & adorable. So when he came home this past weekend - he wasn't totally in love with our lights, (he put them up before he left for his trip - but didn't get to see it on at night). We went to Target & Home Depot to find something to add to our Christmas lights - he came up with a nifty theme of "fire and ice" for our house - white lights on the trim, and on the bottom trim of the walkway. Then we added red lights that look like berries in our palm trees. It looks awesome!!!
My engineer husband who is secretly a Griswold...he told me for next year, we can add more - like lights on the roof and santas and stuff. Hilarious.
