thanks to Renee (MrsWinter) I found out about these awesome nursing bras that don't just soak up your breast milk, they allow it to evaporate so that you don't need to use nursing pads under your bra.... so convenient! unfortunately, my boobs got too big and their largest size is still too small for me, and the PA state health dept won't allow returns, only exchanges....
so I was wondering if anyone (size E and under) might be interested in purchasing these from me? I paid $56 for two bras (including shipping) and just want to recoup some of my money back if possible. does anyone want them both for $40 including shipping (current sale is for $46 w/shipping)? these normally retail for $52 each! they would be brand new (not used) and I can exchange them for whatever size you wear, or see if the store owner will let me send them back to her and have her ship your size once you are ready to get them?
here's the link to the site - and if you want to know how great they are, just ask Renee!
Re: PG and nursing mamas - nursing bras
Geez...I already miss my B cup boobies! Haha. I was so happy when I had lost weight and went down a size (a few years ago). They'll go back down when I stop nursing, right? I didn't even know there were Gs and Hs...yikes!
Hanyi, I hear they get huge the first week after you deliver, when your milk comes in.
You'll probably notice a change when your milk comes in.
I will say that I didn't really experience too much of a change during both of my pregnancies, probably went up one cup size.
Lucky! I'm hoping mine don't get too much bigger. But I'm not holding my breath.
Okay I must be the only freak of nature here! I have small boobs normally-- definitely an A cup-- and now i'm only a B. I can still fit into some A cup bras AND I'm BF! I think when I stop they will shrink to negative A's though...
However, my body seems to think that I gave birth to twins.. .I am making way too much milk.

That's good though...you can pump and have a big stash, right? I hear younger moms tend to have more milk so that may have something to do with it. I just hope I make enough!
This is me! I was maybe a B and now barely a C. I know that after I finished BFing my first, my boobs went back to a B cup.
I'm glad I'm not the only one!
Actually, I'm glad my boobs didn't get huge. You can definitely tell a difference (since they were nonexistent to begin with), but I don't really mind having small boobs.

everyone is different and they say how much (or little) your boobs grow does not impact your ability to BF! (it may impact how much milk you can store and therefore how long you can go in between feedings/pumping before you get uncomfortable though) it is all about supply and demand so if you pump a lot extra your body will make extra. or when they go through a growth spurt and cluster feed, your body will make more and then when their feeding goes back down, so does your supply. I actually had some over supply issues (she was choking on the milk and it was pouring out from the sides of her lips when nursing when she wasn't choking b/c I pumped too much when I got engorged)
anyway, to answer your question - my boobs went from a B to a D in the first trimester and then i expected them to continue growing but they just stopped. I thought surely they would grow in the 3rd tri as the delivery was approaching but they did not. then when my milk came in, wow, they just got huge overnight! I am now an E/F cup depending on manufacturer sizing. go figure - I didn't put ANY lotion on my big PG belly during the 9 months and do not have a single stretch mark on my belly... but my boobs growing 2-3 cup sizes in a day or so was too quick so now I have a few small stretch marks on my boobs
at least they aren't very noticeable.
they say you should go back down to your pre-PG size when you stop BF'ing and I can't wait!! I really don't like having big boobs (used to think I would) but they are just in the way and make it hard for me to get comfortable at night

Can I say that I agree with you 100% on that one. I thought that being a D cup was big enough for me. But now really all I see when I look in the mirror are the "girls" Can't wait to stop breastfeeding and have them deflate.....
Coming to the party late, but this thread is REALLY scaring me because I am already a E (DDD) pre-preg! I haven't grown at all (I did buy 2 new bras with the next higher band size during the summer because I needed new bras and figured I might get bigger so to size uip, sadly...they're just too big and I still wear my old bras these days).
I am praying I don't get any larger once my milk comes in...firmer/rounder? Okay, but actually larger? Good Lord! I'll have to special order my nursing bras...what's more they recommend NO underwires which is really not a great look for me and my ta-tas. OY.

Hmm...mine only started growing when I started to gain weight after 20 weeks so maybe that means they won't get humongo? I'm hoping!
And sorry your thread got kind of hijacked into a totally different thing. I would buy the bras from you but I have no idea how big I'll be so I can't do it yet. How long do you have to exchange them?
I went from a B to a D (could have been a DD right when my milk came) but settled down back down to a D this past month.
The bras are amazing (I have 7 which I why I didn't opt to buy these from Jamie).
Also, Jamie, I got to thinking..if you can't get rid of them, hold out since your boobs will go down some once you get your milk production regulated...at least that is what happened with me.
