Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Is it a bug?-Knot Annie

Hi,

One of the girls on my local sent me this e-mail tonight. I'm not sure how to fix it so I wanted to post. Any advice is appreciated.

"I am a member of the knot.  My username is J&E9509. I was a member of the knot before they changed over to the new format.  Recently after the change went into full effect I have not been able to write Posts.  I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this problem.  It keeps telling me that I need to be logged in, in order to write a post all though I'm already logged in, when it tells me this, however I am able to write blogs.  It doesn't make sense.  Do you know if there is a way to fix this problem?  Or am I doing something wrong?"

Re: Is it a bug?-Knot Annie

  • Yes this is a known issue uncovered during launch since she has a & in her name.  The fix is to sign up with a new username.  Still curious what Annie's response is on the progress of getting these ladies up and running with their existing screennames.

  • We've still got two girls with brand new user names too. One was "Futureisgold" and is now "marnivoice" and the other was "lp31805"  and is now "984866235449201". Very odd.
