I love me some Golden Knights! (My husband is an alum.) We got a big kick out of their upsetting Houston.
And yes, there is a more made-up bowl: the Independence Bowl (formerly known as "The Weed-Eater Bowl") in scenic Shreveport, LA; and, of course, the Emerald Nuts Bowl.

and Rutgers is NOT happy about this. We were hoping for the Meineke bowl...
According to ESPN this bowl game will be called AdvoCare V100 Independence this year.

We played in the Independence Bowl a couple of years ago [Oklahoma State]. That was interesting.
Rutgers played (and beat NC State) in it last year.
I figured it wasn't a brand new bowl, but I wasn't sure how old it was. Bowls change names and sponsors so many times that it's hard to keep up with!
LOL, I never heard of this bowl, but seeing Golden Knights in this post made me google it....DH is a UCF alum too, so now it's cool
As for me personally, I'm pretty "meh" about college bowl games.
I liked when RU was in the "papa johns.com bowl." Not even Papa John's, but papajohns.com. DH and I ordered in a pizza and he made me sing the RU fight song again.and again.and again.
