Hey there!  We actually haven't left Norton yet.  We will be leaving him christmas eve-that monday!  I'm a nervous wreck!  I really don't want to leave him.  We are taking him to that place on Kyles Station and Cin-Day Rd.  They seemed really nice and the place was clean...but I don't wanna leave him Crying Thanks for asking!  I'll let you know how it goes!

  • Oh hunny, Norton will be fine! I know its rough leaving them. It was so hard to leave Koda, but you know what Norton will have a blast at the kennel and he'll be full of kisses when he gets home.

Oh are you talking about Colonial Acres? We just took Koda there a couple weeks ago to get a bath. I liked them. I asked a few questions about the kennel and she showed me around. They all get bedding and I like how they have the doggy door that they leave open during the nicer weather. Plus they had some large runs for them to play. I think when we need to kennel Koda next we'll go there. Also did you ask about extra play time? We got Koda extra playing time the last time we left her and that made me feel good knowing that she was getting spoiled there too. They also gave me a couple of coupons when I was in next, so it might be worth asking for a couple of coupons.

Honestly, this is rediculous - we live so close and we haven't met up. We need to get the dogs together for a walk. The high on Saturday is 42, wanna meet and go for a walk?

  • Yup that is the place!!!  I'm glad u liked it!  I know he'll b fine...Just a nervous mom leaving the little one for the first time!  His big sister Callee will be there too and they can play together!

I know we do need to get together.  Saturday is H's graduation but def sometime soon maybe next Saturday!  Does Koda like other dogs?  We could always get them together for a play date!

  • Oh thats right, your DH is graduating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big Smile Thats great that Norton will have a familiar place at the kennel that'll help.

We do need to get the dogs together. Next Saturday is out and I have a lunch thing on Sunday but the rest of Sunday we're free. Koda does okay with other dogs. We had a play date with a dog down the street over the summer and she didn't know what to do. The other dog was very used to being around dogs and Koda just isn't. We're in training with two other dogs on Thursday nights and Koda is playing more and more with them each week. Its fun to watch her 'play' with the other dogs. How about Norton? How does he do?
