Re: POLL: Now that the finalists have been announced...
Not sure who I think will win, but I think Andy Dalton should've been a finalist. Besides passing yards, he has better stats that McCoy and Tebow. He's only had 5 interceptions all year and has only been sacked 10 times. I don't necessarily think he should win, but I think he deserves a spot in the finals - specifically over Tebow.
Other than that, I think Ingram, Gerhart, or Suh deserve to win out of the finalists.
ETA: Others who I thought deserved at least a mention in the Heisman watch: Danario Alexander from Missouri (amazing stats for only 12 games!). What about Case Keenum from Houston? Of course he won't be talked about since he's not exactly in a main conference - but have you seen his stats? He beat McCoy in every single category. I don't even know if Houston is a D1 school or how the Heisman works with regards to that. Anyways, I could go on and on.
After the incredible stupidity and lack of awareness demonstrated by McCoy in the game on Saturday, he should not win.
He was not aware of the play clock? Really?! You would not believe the scene at my house, especially since some of our guests had bets on Nebraska.
Houston is in CUSA. I'm not sure that he should win just based on who they play. Their schedule is necessarily the hardest especially when you look at the conference.
Cinnabun and Junebug say, "Go Wildcats!"
I want Suh to win. If he doesn't then Gerhart whose numbers are better than Ingrams. Unfortunately some of these kids don't get the respect they deserve all because they are considered to play for "lower level" teams.
My vote is that McCoy will win though. Booooo
I think Ingram will win it, but Suh should.
Ingram will win it. Suh should. If not Suh then I am rooting for Gerhart.
But Ingram will win it.

The Heisman has turned into a popularity contest, so either Ingram or McCoy will win it. Tebow definitely doesn't deserve...he's the No. 70 QB in the nation. Number FREAKING 70, pathetic.
I would rather see Gehart or Suh win it, though I don't think Gehart deserves it; Suh would.
I agree with another poster, Andy Dalton should have been on the list. I'm a little bias, but I also think CJ Spiller (clemson) should have been invited.
It shouldn't matter what conference you play in...the Heisman is supposed to be the person who is" the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work"
exactly. for that alone mccoy shouldn't win.
I would really like Suh to win.
