Straight leg jeans vs. boot cut
Do they look different? I know on What Not to Wear they are always saying to wear straight leg jeans cause they make your legs look longer but I'm afraid they are going to make my hips look bigger.

Regular straight leg jeans never look right on me but I can wear some of the trouser style fits. If you are looking to fit your hips the best (this is always my problem!) I find the curvy bootcut work really well. They are a little smaller in the waist and bigger in the hips/butt so that you don't get the panty showing back gap happening. I like the ones at ny&co.
Anything remotely straight makes my ass and hips look HUGE! Gap makes curvy flairs that fit me well.
I love Gap jeans! I get so many compliments on mine! The girls that work at the Gap in Town Center are really great, and they're really good at finding a good fit.
I actually find that when you go to most stores and hold the hem of the boot leg pant leg up to the thigh, they are straight. I'm not even sure that made sense...To answer your question. No, I don't think they look different.
But anyway, I am a huge fan of Ann Taylor Curvy Boot jeans. They are awesome.
