I learned the hard way to shovel snow with waterproof mascara... (I think I scared the crap out of a neighbor one morning... Yes, I was being vane!=))
Plus the staypuff look is fun to roll over mounds of snow, Sheri!

I'm a little further north than Dani, but sometimes I wish I had the clothes to sport that look. It gets freaking cold, and I don't have the right attire to deal!
