Photo Editing

I'm looking for some type of picture editing software, preferably free and user friendly. I don't want to do anything fancy just changing some pics to black and white and maybe some selective coloring. Hit me with your best idea.

Re: Photo Editing

  • I think you can do this with shutterfly!  I used it when I did my honeymoon book.  Good luck!

  • The largest open-source program is gimp.

It's pretty much an open-source Photoshop.

  • check the software that came with your camera - I have an olympus camera and it came with a basic photo editing software that actually has come in handy for some things.  I can get rid of red eye (or green eye for pics of my dog), change the color from color to black/white or even sepia, crop, etc.  I'm not great at photos so I have found it to be useful to fix up the goofs!
  • Google's Picassa is good for simple edits like that.
