What are you looking forward to?

With the holidays coming up what are you looking forward to?  (I can guess what Abbie is looking forward to... how many days do you have left??)

Re: What are you looking forward to?

  • I am going to NJ to see my Grandmother on the 19th and am praying for no snow so that we don't have to cancel.... I am so excited to see her

7 days of school left, 3 teaching days left!!!!!!!!!!! I'm dying! I just feel like it can't come soon enough, but I know it will get here.

I'm also looking forward to baking cookies with MIL on Saturday, shopping for Christmas presents, my family Christmas party on the 19th with my mom's side, hosting my immediate family Christmas party on the 20th, and of course Christmas Eve and Christmas day! I *LOVE* the holidays!

And hopefully a GTG soon! We'll set a date this weekend for it!

  • I'm looking forward to a GTG too! I was just telling Matt last night how badly I need a girls night out!

I'm also looking forward to going up to my mom's on the 19th & 20th. And Christmas with Matt (obviously) and a brunch with Matt's family on the day after Christmas. I'm also just looking forward to the time off between Christmas and New Years.

  • This is terrible because I wish away the holidays every year but its so crazy at work right now I kind of just can't wait for Christmas day to get here so these next few weeks are over, and I love the holidays so its so tough. I could seriously be on the show Snapped by the end of the week.
  • I forgot to put this in my previous post but jasonlovessara your new photo of the twins is so cute!
  • ILs are coming for Christmas.  My SIL and BIL will be bringing their new baby, whom I'll be meeting for the first time.  I'm so excited to be an aunt!

It takes away some of the sadness of this being the first Christmas since my grandma has passed, especially because we usually spent the holiday with her.

ETA:  I just talked to my parents and they will becoming too!  Yay!

  • I am looking forward to baking cookies for the first time with DH this coming weekend if all goes well.

Yesterday I would have said looking forward to seeing TSO.. we saw them last night in Baltimore and it was awesome.

Next Saturday we are going on our annual trip to NYC to the Radio City Christmas show for the day with the in-laws and sister in law.. cant wait.  I always look forward to that..

And just looking forward to our first married Christmas in general!  :)
