What's everyone up to this weekend?
Tonight I need to bake something for this weekend (I'm going to attempt a chocolate peanut butter pie, but I am a terrible baker). And H and I might go to the movies.
Tomorrow we're driving down to CT, having a fancy birthday dinner with a really good friend & her boyfriend.
Sunday decorating my mom's tree and doing "christmas eve" with my extended family.

Tonight we're heading to the cape.
Tomorrow we're going to the Chatham Christmas Stroll with my dad's side of the family. DH and I got engaged on December 8th (3 years ago) which was the friday of the christmas stroll so this weekend always has special meaning to me. We're going with all the girls on my dad's side and the baby is strolling for the first time. Then we do dinner and gifts, this year its at my parents house.
Sunday we're supposed to be doing "christmas" with my parents friends who live one town over down the cape, they moved there 2 years ago. We're up in the air on if DH and I will be doing dinner with them because of the weather. We'll see, I hope we can because it's one of my favorite restaurants on the cape!
Today: Dinner w/my family at The Palms in Boston (a treat from my mom's boss)... it's my mother's favorite restaurant & it's my parents anniversary too! It's also the first night of Hannukah!!!! Woohoo!
Saturday: Mohegan Sun for my DH's best friend & BM- it's his 30th.

I plan to fall asleep early tonight.
Tomorrow we have a Christmas party to go to.
Sunday is SIL's birthday so we're going to the IL's house for dinner and cake.
Tonight I have a work holiday party (by the way, I've started "working" part time for my old company, helping out with misc. projects until I find something more permanent).
Saturday and Sunday I'll be spending in Chicago--brrrrr!!! It's my friend's bachelorette party and hopefully I'll be drinking enough alcohol and participating in enough debauchery to stay warm

Tonight I am hoping to get to Costco. Tomorrow I have a facial, and then lunch with my cousin. I am hoping to do all of my Christmas shopping this weekend. We don't have a ton planned so I feel like this is a realistic goal.
Thanks, C. I'm liking it OK, my boss and I are fairly tight since I've known him for 10+ years now and the whole situation is pretty low-key. It's not exactly what I was doing before, but at least this way I can fudge my resume a little, make a little money, and keep busy.
That is great Rock! This weekend is a busy busy weekend. Tonight the show opens at the HS where DH and I direct theatre. Tomorrow we have a matinee and an evening show and Sunday morning I have to be at work bright and early for orientation. Thankfully Sunday I'll only be working until noon. Then we get to chill and decorate the tree and maybe do some Christmas shopping. I just need to get through the next 2 days until I get some R&R!
I am having a party tonight and going to a party tomorrow night.
I have a home visit for a local rescue in a $$$ community $$$ on Sunday. I am looking forward to seeing what the inside of a $$$ million dollar home looks like!
Oooh, you have to tell us how your chocolate peanut butter pie turns out, smal, that sounds amazing, like a giant reeses cup!
I have to work this weekend, surprise, surprise.. but I'm off on Sunday and am hoping to wrap up my Christmas shopping so I can send everything on Monday. Oh, and Sunday night is my work Christmas party which should be fun.
