had a freakout yesterday

I called the dermatologist that prescribed me meds for the staph infection to make sure that he was aware of the fact that DH and are ttc.  I had told them this the last time I was there for my acne.

Well the dermatologist himself gets on the phone and starts lamblasting me about I will be in the hospital if I don't take the meds but if I am pregnant that the meds could really hurt the fetus.  He was like go RIGHT NOW to your obgyn and insist they give you a blood pg test.

I understand these point quite well hence the freakout that commenced.

Of course I call my obgyn and have to leave a voicemail.  I went to the store and bought a test and on my way home the nurse calls me back and I tell her the issue and she was like you need to call the dermatologist and tell him to give you meds that are safe for a baby bc unless you miss your period we can not tell you if you are pg or not.

I was like gee thanks!  So I went home and took the test which was negative so I called the new obgyn that I have a new patient appt with today and the nurse called me back in like 30 mins and was soo helpful.

So I am going this morning to meet the new dr and they are going to do a blood pg test on me just to be sure.

sorry soo long....
