As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Happy Chanukah Marissa! Are you guys going to get home for Chanukah this year or no?
DH is pretty upset he's not home to celebrate Chanukah this year...he wont be home until Thursday (late) but we'll do family dinner on Friday and he'll get to open all his presents at once - while SIL and I will only have 1 left cause we're not waiting lol!
I forgot your hubby celebrated too! Happy Chanukah to you both too
Ha its ok, its hard to remember since I'm not Jewish and he is - it comes up every so often, but not all the time so I'm actually surprised when people do remember we celebrate Jewish holidays along with the Christian ones
Thanks guys! It's such a long holiday (and honestly not a super important one) so we aren't going to see family but we aree going to a friend's place for dinner tonight and we'll at least light the candles at home together every night. I'm really looking forward to some yummy latkes!
It's so cold here now so I think I'll have to make some Matzo Ball soup too at some point. Damn...now I'm hungry!
um, can you save some latkes for me?!
