Holy Deer!!
My hubby comes home late last night from work and tells me, "I hit a deer!" I am like, "Oh my God! Are u ok?" He says, "Yup. Just listen.. I was driving home and doing about 50 (way out in the country) the speed limit and went over the dip in the road and I look to my driver's side and there it is. I turn the wheel a lit bit and it hit the driver's side corner. The deer did cartwheels and managed to get up and run into the woods. I pull over and the headlights work and I can't see any damage. There was just a whole bunch of deer fur stuck to the car! I drive further to where there are streetlights and I still can't find any damage!"
I can't believe how lucky he was. I went out this morning and checked the SUV (Which by the way was mine up until recently when he started driving it. It is my favorite car ever.) The only sign of anything is deer fur all over the headlight and the side. I am so thankful that he is okay! Hopefully, the deer is too. My SUV didn't even get a scratch! What a night!
