I just had my first consultation today! The technician is this blunt, and hilarious and instructed me to "flash her" for my skin analysis. I had a test patch done and um yeah, I think I'm going to be using that numbing cream (EMLA or something?)!!
So my questions is to ladies who have lasered their bikini area... How do you keep the cream on you for 1 hour? It says to create an air-tight seal using saran wrap or something but how do you do that "there"? I can understand if it's your arm or leg or something (where you can actually wrap the plastic around yourself). Do you make some kind of a saran wrap diaper?
Do you take the cream off before you leave for the clinic? At the clinic?
Anyway, please share any tips on using the cream!
Re: :::Ladies who laser:::
i used the cream once and did the saran wrap thing...basically i smeared the cream on all my bits and slapped the saran wrap on...it was actually kind of messy and weird feeling. i didn't think it really helped at all and did my next sessions w/o it as inamara did. i left the wrap on til my appointment and peeled it off in the bathroom at the clinic.
after i ditched the not so numbing cream i would frequent the restaurant across the way and have a few stiff ones...that worked much better!!! haha.
i'm actually looking into it again too! i'm trying to find a clinic that will do brazilian laser.
good luck on your appts...lots of numbing vibes for you
I have to laugh just imagining a death certificate that states
CAUSE OF DEATH: Vag numbing cream, complicated by saran wrap

Wow, thanks ladies!
Actually, the tech did say I could go to the bar next door to have a few, haha!
Hanyi, thanks for the heads up on the cream! I'll take a look at the link.
Yeah, I figured the cream would be messy, esp with the saran wrap getting in the way. Wearing it to the clinic, and taking it off in the clinic bathroom sounds like a good idea.
Thanks again!
this made me LOL
