Re: photobook

  • I used Shutterfly for mine (mainly because it was the cheaper route), but a lot of people use MyPublisher and love it. I thought that Shutterfly worked well though (the more you spend, the better it looks...like using leather cover instead of the normal one, etc.)

Either way, I think your book will look fantastic because your pictures are so gorgeous and you looked so stunning!!

  • Mpix.com I have not used them for a photo book but have gotten prints and they are high quality, professional grade....

  • I was very happy with my Snapfish.com books, and I especially liked their format for designing them.  It was very easy to drag-and-drop.

  • I did mine in Blurb - I haven't seen what it looks like yet though!
  • We did a mini vacation album from theblurb to test them out before we go our wedding photos back.  I didn't think the quality was that great.

We ended up using MyPublisher for our wedding album and I absolutely love how it turned out.  The paper quality and photos look great.  I used both professional and regular photos that friends took in the wedding album so it wasn't the photo quality that made the difference.

  • we used mypublisher...my wedding photog has purchased and tested out most DIY album sites out there and found that MP was the best quality/value.
  • So I had my engagement photos done in My Publisher.  I wasn't entirely thrilled and dreaded doing our honeymoon and wedding one as well.  So I did the honeymoon one 6 months back with Shutterfly, more as a trial run for the wedding book.  I found a review website reviewing all the different photo book websites and Shutterfly out did My Publisher.  So I was taking a chance.  I was SOOOO happy with the honeymoon book.  It is unreal.  I really liked the template pages they have to offer.  They offer way more selection than My Publisher or Blurb does.  I also love getting all the different coupon codes and using them all when I have made my books.

So I JUST received my wedding one a few days ago.  Ya, I know........a year later, I finally got it done!  We got a 12x12 book, hard cover.  I got free shipping and all kinds of other discounts.  I ended up buying 3 of them for our parents and us.  I am sooooo excited to show them because it is just so beautiful.  If you would like to see it, let me know, I can send you the link!

    Good luck!

  • I saw this post comparing mypublisher and blurb on WB a few weeks ago...I don't have personal experience with either, but it might help...
