Anything fun and exciting happen over the weekend?
What are your plans for today?
Have a great Monday!
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time.

Re: Happy Monday! :)
It was a cookie-filled weekend! Made cookies Saturday morning. Then H and I went to Olive Garden and the movies to see Christmas Carol on IMAX 3-D. Good movie- not the biggest fan of their ghost of Christmas past or the demon-possessed children that belonged to the ghost of Christmas present- but overall very well made- I just don't think its a "kid" movie like you would assume.
Watched Julie & Julia that we got on Netflix- pretty good movie- but I liked the book better!
Sunday- Decorated sugar cookies with Kat
It was fun- I'll have to get some pictures up on photobucket and post pics here tonight!
yey for cookies!!
Fri-I took a half day at work. Hit Joanns and came home and bake some cookies. Sat morning-more cookies, than took the kids to visit the IL's while DH did some OT. Than we hit Old Navy. Darn rain only seem to pour whenever I had to get the kids in and out of the car. So not fun!
Sun-was massive cookie decorating with Lena. A whole lot of work for a little itty bitty amount of cookies. But we have a plan for next time
And it was still a ton of fun!
Today a trip to target and the running center to hopefully finish up my christmas shopping.
Hey! I made 30
But most after you left- I started on simpler designs, lol! I still have about 25 left to make tonight! Thank goodness royal icing saves well in those containers! It was a blast- can't wait to make Monkeys and bananas!!!
My weekend was a cookie marathon as well! 7 hours of baking on Saturday at my friends house. Yesterday, church and then more baking and assembling all our cookie packages for people. I am cookied out!!
Oh and we finally got out Christmas tree last night! Hallelujah! I thought it was never going to happen. I was able to get it partially decorated and dh is supposed to finish it today.
And YAY for Christmas tree!!! Congrats!!!
We had Aerowyn's first dance recital on Saturday then headed to LA to have dinner with my aunt and uncle since my parents were in town. Yesterday A and I went to Disneyland with my parents. Robert has his last final today, so we was home studying.
I have so much to do I just want to crawl in a hole and hide. I still need to address cards, send out A's bday invites, plan for her party, finish xmas shopping, finish cleaning and start decorating for xmas, wrap a gazillion gifts, make several of A's gifts, have her make gifts for others, finish some t-shirt/burpies/bow orders, get my car smogged, get it registered (in person since tags expire on the 24th). Ugg. Really, is there a hole I can crawl into until next Christmas??
Morning!
Saturday I got a lube & oil on my car (SOOO glad San Bernardino Mitsubishi reopened!!) and did some shopping. Then came home, played Batman on the Wii and watched the new Terminator.
Yestersday church, FINALLY saw New Moon, home to make cookies, and watched the Dexter finale.
Today I really need to knock out some Christmas shopping so I'm heading to Kohl's after work.
What did you think?
I liked it. It was way, way better than Twilight. Funny, now I can't remember what happens in Eclipse for the life of me.
Morning everyone!
Friday I stopped by Michaels, Trader Joes and Petsmart after work and decided to get sushi takeout for dinner on my way home. Spent the rest of the night catching up on our DVR and calling it an early night
Sat hit up the Hurley and ONeill warehouse sales and sadly didnt find much except a few tshirts for H and a summery dress for me. H left for Murrietta to hang out with a friend of his who just moved out there so the rest of the night I worked on a birthday design, caught up on my shows and watched Julie and Julia in bed.
Sunday baked some doggie treats for Dunkin and made some banana coconut muffins for us. I also managed to organize some cabinets in our kitchen that had gotten a bit too out of control and I was so proud of myself since it was one of those things I always said I would do but never got around to it
We also did a run to Costco and the place was insane! Never seen it so busy before! After Costco I finished the Lost Symbol and we had dinner at the ILs.
night C was out so Sarah and I ran to BRU and Old Navy then
Wendy's for dinner. Sarah screamed "fries!" all the way home! Guess
she was hungry?
Saturday we were up and out of here bright and early for our 7:55am
flight to Oakland for the weekend. Poured down rain for the most of
the weekend which made things oh-so-fun...We hung out with our friends
until the first party which was a 1 year old's party at The Little Gym
about an hour from where we were staying. The party was cute...Clare
tried to put out the candle by pinching the flame. Sarah seemed to
have a good time. After that our friends who live out there asked us
to come by for a "minute" to see their new puppy. Wound up staying
for over an hour (not by our choice). We had another party to get to
about 45 minutes away for one of Chris' bosses. It got to be so late
though that we decided not to go to the last party. We had to run to
Target to pick up some gift wrap which I did very quickly but as soon
as I got in the car, Sarah started throwing up! It was lovely...C
is scooping it up and throwing it out the open window into the pouring
down rain. Oh yeah...did I mention we were borrowing our friends' car
and carseat? :-) We raced back to our friends' house and I ran Sarah
up to the tub to get her cleaned up and she'd also had diarrhea (sorry
TMI) so now we're guessing she finally caught the stomach flu everyone
else at daycare had last week. Luckily, after that she didn't throw
up again (she'd had diarrhea throughout the day - lucky us). That
night we just hung out with our friends and relaxed and wrapped
gifts. We put on Julie and Julia but I fell asleep.
Sunday we got up to go to brunch at a friends house where we also did
a gift exchange for all of the kids. We got out of there at about
12:30 for our 2:30 flight - we scheduled our flight home around the
Raider game (which started at 4pm yesterday). Last night we grabbed
KFC on the way home and just veg'ed - we were exhausted!
C woke up with a cold which he probably caught from Sarah.
Sarah had a well-baby checkup this morning and she's up to 23.5 pounds
(10th percentile), 33.5 inches (75th percentile) and is doing really
well! Yay! She got a Hep A vaccine and didn't cry at all! She's
such a good girl! :-)
Hope everyone has a great day!
