I'm a shiitty cook

I managed to f*ck up scrambled eggs.  It was one of the nastiest things I've ever tasted.  Yea, I suck.

Re: I'm a shiitty cook

  • I have messed up scrambled eggs a few times in my life.  They are actually pretty easy to mess up so don't feel so bad.

  • You're not alone.  I have also managed to mess them up.
  • Oh, well that makes me feel better because BL just made fun of me telling me it's one of the easiest things to make next to Mac n' Cheese (which I have also f*cked up in the past) and continued to laugh at me.  It's good to know I'm not the only one.

  • I have messed up mac-n-cheese as well and I have been told that i am a fantastic cook.  We all have our days.  But the eggs man....they can be tricky.  Depending on how you like them, just a few minutes too long or too high heat and they are dunzo.
  • Half the time when I do cook, M won't eat as much as he normally does for dinner.  Though he never has the heart to tell me it tastes like ass, I bring it up and he just looks at me and tells me not to worry about it that he'll still eat it, but I can see it in his face.  I guess some people have it, some people don't, at least I make an attempt at it.
  • I've messed up mac-n-cheese too, don't feel bad!  Sometimes it just doesn't come out the way it should for whatever reason!

  • I cannot make scrambled eggs.  Mine are either runny or burnt.  They're hard!

  • I can't make scrambled eggs either.  If I want them I have to have DH make them. I never realized how bad mine were until he made them the first time.
  • You have to take them off at the perfect moment, otherwise they're either runny or rubbery. Trust me, definitely not on the same easiness level as mac and cheese!
  • The only way I can get them to turn out right is if I scramble them with a little bit of milk.  Otherwise they're rubbery and dry.

  • I've done it too so don't worry.  Although, I think that's the only thing that DH knows how to make so he usually cooks them for us.

Thats the secret to them! Also a dash of creamer works as well. Don't feel bad!
