I have the best husband ever.
When we first moved in together, it was a chore to get him to help with stuff around the house. Now, he takes initiative... complete 180! And I got a back rub yesterday, which felt great on my arthritic back.
hmm...
oh, Jack started sitting up unsupported over the weekend! it's pretty fun. Other than that, I'm boring.
we sat on the blue rte yesterday for 2 hours in the SAME spot. I had to pee on the road twice in between car doors (luckily we were on the shoulder). I felt like I was back in college, tailgating. Guess I shouldn't have drank a big DD coffee on the way home. Thankfully, we didn't have Jack with us. We were coming home from my SIL's for my MIL's bday party. so it took us 4 hours to make a 90 min trip. UGH.
I get to work from home on Wednesday.
The newspaper said Obama signed an executive order gaving all federal employees a half-day on Xmas eve -- that totally made my week!
And Olivia is starting to walk. Right now she takes a step and falls, but she's getting there!
I saw that, too. I'm already off Christmas Eve bc Christmas Day is my normally-scheduled day off, so I had to switch the day off to Eve. Oh well...
Is it a half day only if you're working? or a half day regardless?
I don't know... my co-workers had the same question. I didn't take off because I knew historically we were always given a half day, but I never had this much notice. Usually the big boss sends out an e-mail around 11am telling us we can leave at noon.

All of my Christmas shopping is done and wrapped and in the car to take to inlaws in Avalon tonight.
My induction is scheduled for next Wednesday, so if all goes well, we will walk out of the hospital Christmas morning.

I'm so relieved the class is over. I'm still bitter, but at least I don't have to see the professor again

I celebrated my birthday this weekend and was really psyched to have friends and family take time out from their crazy holiday schedules to hang out with H and I even though in all my pregnant glory I'm not a ton of fun.
