Did anyone else read this? (Gator Fans)
About how the Jr's got together before the FSU game to talk about how they weren't going to play very hard so they wouldn't get hurt and ruin their draft chances? Ugh.
Re: Did anyone else read this? (Gator Fans)
Yeah, my friend is on some message boards and this 3 page thing was circulating with all these rumors about what's been going on inside the program. It's all speculative, but given what is publicly known, it makes a lot of sense. To sumarize some of the points:
-apparently a lot of players were at the party with Dunlap and they were all wasted, but he was the only one to get caught
-the Jrs all know they are gonna go pro and decided to not play all out in fear of getting hurt. there have been meetings of groups of key players where they've discussed not playing as hard as they can.
-there's major divides going on in the locker room
-more key players may be suspended as a result of the Dunlap party and starters may be benched for the SUgar Bowl b/c of their attitude.
And there was a lot of other stuff too. It makes me really sad to read, but I suppose it's bound to happen at times.
I hope so. I mean, I'd love to see everyone play and beat the crap out of Cincy... but I think it would be more fitting for Meyer to tell those guys "Hey, you don't want to give it your all... i've got a whole second string who is DYING to get on the field." and let them sit the bench and talk about their potential pro careers.
