Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I grew a pair!!!
I was going to post this yesterday but I honestly thought the Prez forgot about my chat with him on Friday before I left.
So remember my post regarding lack of raises and what not here. Well I took Twinks advise, a little early. I didn't use her words exactly, I used my own but used her technique, if you will, and it worked!
I spoke with the Prez directly and he was unaware that I have not gotten a raise since the explosion, he was also apologetic that I only got $0.25 last year, he said that was a joke. He said that although he cannot put it in writing right now, he asked me to take him as a man of his word (he is a man of his word) and said he would speak to his son P about getting me a "very decent raise" and proceeded to compliment me on the work I do for him and this company.
Like I said, he's an old man, I had caught him on my way out the door on Friday so I thought he would honestly forget our conversation from then. Well just a few minutes ago he came to my desk and said "I just wanted to let you know I didn't forget about our chat on Friday and please rest assured that I will talk to my son about what we discussed, I will get you some numbers, just give me a couple days. Also please do not tell anyone because I don't think anyone aside from you and M (BL) will be getting one" I of course would never run around the office blabbering about getting a raise.
I don't want to sound like I'm bragging to you guys, I just wanted to keep you posted. I am so proud of myself because I hoenstly have NEVER spoken up for myself, this just made my day.
