Hmm....my mom did a whole New Kids on the Block theme for me when I was in like 6th grade and I was pretty excited!
DH got me my car two years ago, so that was pretty good!
My parents took us on a cruise for Christmas in 2001
DH got me diamond earrings last year
In 2008, my gram passed away. Right before she passed, she paid off one of my student loans but wouldnt let my mom tell us til xmas....best xmas present Ive ever gotten.
Also, Id say my oopsie daisy doll when I was a kid,,.......it was all I wanted that year and I remember how jammed I was to see that Santa had brought it!
My pearl necklace and bracelet from HT back when we were dating- I still wear them all the time, and have had to have them re-strung I wear them so often.
My "Dandy Dan the Mountain Man" doll- in 3rd grade LOVED THAT! (The entire series of Little House Books was given to my sister the same year, but she didn't read them and gave them to me- which I STILL re-read every winter- so probably that if it counts as gift you received, even though it wasn't intended for me.)
Is it sad that none really stick out for me? I've gotten a lot of great gifts but none seem spectacular.
I guess I'd say my remote car starter is pretty nice (although having to figure out where to install it was a PITA). LOVE not having to go out in the winter and get it going.
I did get a nice set of jewelry (earrings and a necklace) from the H one year for Christmas.
Nothing like a cruise or a car or a trip. Now THOSE I'd remember haha.
Eva was due right before Christmas so DH got me a ring with her birthstone. Christmas came before Eva did so he was a nervous wreck that she wouldn't show up until the new year and he'd need to exchange the ring!
I don't really have a favorite gift from when I was little but Santa always left us one small present on our nightstand to let us know that he had come (usually a little Christmas figurine) and I still have most of them.
One would be my awesome stand mixer that DH had custom painted for me last year
Before that I would say probably my Cabbage Patch Kid when I was little. I remember being SO excited!
One would be my first sorority sweatshirt that my then best friend bought for me. She was the one who was supposed to go to school and join a sorority, but I'm the one who did it instead. She was in New Orleans for school and I remember screaming when she gave me the sweatshirt. It meant so much to me. I believe I still have it 19 years later.
DH got me my camera two years ago that I love so much.
I'm know there are tons of great things I've gotten, but those tend to stick out.
Last year I got the iPod touch from my parents and it's the best gift ever. I didn't even know what to ask for this year since I don't think it can be topped. It's great.
As for the other one, hmmmmmmm I remember getting a Cabbage Patch Doll as a kid and being super excited.

DH gave me the receipt from our first date framed a few years ago. He said he knew from that date that he would marry me. I cried of course.
