Gift ideas for 15 m/o's?

I was thinking about going to the Bump to ask this, but then remember how many of you have LO's, so figured I'd ask here first!

Derek's BF and his wife have 17 m/o triplets (2 girls and a boy).  They were born 2 mo's early, so adjusted age is (duh) 15 mo's.  Derek is the godfather one of the girls.

We're looking for ideas for what we can get them for Christmas.  We got them puppets for their birthday and books for something before that.

It seems like everything neat/educational I see is always 3+ years.

So, what would you ladies suggest?  What things did your LO's love to play with when they were around that age?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

  • Melissa and Doug have a really cute instrument set that I got for my neice.

Large blocks would be good or a pus or pull toy - remember that Fisher Price popcorn popper thing?

  • Blocks. A tambourine. A kiddy xylophone. A magnadoodle.
