Goals/Things to Look Forward to in 2010
Now that December is halfway over, I guess it's time to start thinking about New Year's resolutions. I never keep any of mine, so I don't know why I bother.
What are some of your goals for 2010?
What are you looking forward to in 2010?
Re: Goals/Things to Look Forward to in 2010
One of my goals is to go gluten free. I'm been having some health issues that all seem to revolve around the same thing. So I am going to try it and hope it makes me feel better. Another goal is to get our house fixed up so we can sell it and move somewhere we actually like.
I am looking forward to being done with grad school in May!!!
The biggest goal is to be a homeowner!!! Also, to stay out of CC debt. This year we worked so hard to get out of it, and want it to stay that way.
I am really looking forward to a positive new year, this past one has had so many ups and downs! I want to stay in the UPS !!!
What are some of your goals for 2010?
One of my goals for 2010 is to be down to my goal weight. I have been lazy with my diet as of late because things are just so hectic due to the holiday, but at least I didn't gain anything back that I've lost thus far. My other goal is a goal M and I have together, to be in our own house my this time next year.
What are you looking forward to in 2010?
Being in our own place and even possibly TTC by the end of next year.
Goals...weight, as always... and to stick to something. I always start stuff and sometimes finish-especially craft projects. I am hula hooping now and love it!! and just found out my instructor might move-sure... when I find something I like! But I can learn tricks online-fortunately! and to organize!!!(myself, my work, my home...)
Looking forward to... Watching the skids become their own persons... They're branching out and I hope one decides to live w us-if not more than one...
Goals: To get back on track health wise. I was so good before the wedding with eating well and exercising, I need to get back to that. To pay off DH's credit cards for good! We haven't used them for a couple of years now, we just have to get through those freaking balances!!!!
Looking forward to: Meeting my baby girl.
Goals:
Organize the upstairs of our house. The master bedroom is downstairs, and we have let things upstairs get out of control in terms of leaving stuff lying around, etc.
Stop gaining weight. Seriously. I've essentially figured out that if I eat more than 1200 calories a day I will gain weight. I have to be vigilant about meal planning, eating out, etc. and it's exhausting.
Pay off the student loan. 6 months to go and I cannot wait!
Looking forward to:
My Jan. 5 appt. to find out my post-meds TSH levels. Please let them be close to 1!
TTC. We keep saying we're waiting until the summer, but I have a feeling if my TSH level is where it should be then we might start sooner.
Being student loan, and debt, free!
Starting to think about where we'd like to live next. We're due for orders by August 2011, but will probably make our "wish list" very late next year.
Goals:
Live healthy, reach my goal weight, save money and plan for the future, have a baby, and have a positive year
Looking forward to:
TTC, another year of marriage, having a great year after the tough one we had this year.
I really want to tone up. I was doing well with it but hurt my elbow about a month ago. My arms were looking awesome but now they're back to mush.
I'm looking forward to our vacation in May.
Goals: Get my resume website up and running after christmas and get a great job ASAP!!! If we have to move for said job, find CHEAP rent so we can buy a house in the next year. Get my freelance business website up & really start chasing clients. Help DH find a new job. We both hate the ridiculous hours he's working, we never see each other. REALLY step up the exercise routine and help DH with his wakeup call. My BMI is teetering on overweight and his is on obese...yikes.
Looking forward to: Starting over!
Goals
1) Opening our business
2) Making our house more into a home -- painting and decorating rooms
3) Really start saving so we can TTC in 2011
4) Maintain (lose if possible) my weight.
Looking Forward To:
1) Owning our own business and doing work I actually enjoy =D
2) Spending time with Dh
3) Preparing to TTC
Goals - Most important goal, is to pay down/pay off our debt... We have way too much and have been careless this year and have gotten behind on a lot of it
Looking forward to - New jobs for M and I both... It's looking really hopeful right now. ::crosses fingers:: And looking forward to starting our family next year too!
ETA: NOLA 2010!!!
Lose the pregnancy weight and get to my goal weight.
Buy a home.
Save up for NOLA.
Save up for a second (and final) baby (TTC in early 2011).
Pay off J's CC.
Looking forward to NOLA, Scarlett's milestones, whatever joy life brings...
My goals are to:
Feel better and get fit. I think I'm going to have to be one of those people who has to be in excellent shape in order to be pain-free.
Get out of NYC
Get a new job
Visit my BFF in South Korea
Looking forward to:
Getting out of the city, maybe paying off a lot J's student loans, living a more livable life.
GOALS:
Become a homeowner
Get a raise
Get more freelance work/get my web site up and running
LOOKING FORWARD TO:
March/April Vacation to Mexico
Being in my friend's wedding in May
Maybe going to Greece at the end of the summer?
What are some of your goals for 2010? Be healthier, be more productive, watch less tv and read more, be a better money manager (i.e. save more)
What are you looking forward to in 2010?
Starting the nursing program, getting more projects finished around the house
Goals:
Maintain (if not lose) my wieght. I like how you put that Hudsy! I really am not too unhappy with my weight, just don't want it to go up.
TCC...still working on getting a real conversation with DH about it, he just says " I don't know" whenever we talk about it. I don't think he's against it totally, or else I wouldn't push it, we just have a lot on our plates.
Remodel the kitchen...said "a lot on our plates" We wanted to take our homeowners tax credit and pay to remodel the kitchen, but then DH wanted to pay off our CC with it, plus put a fence in the back yard for the dog with it, so the kitchen is on hold. But...we had also talked about doing the kitchen before TCC...so I'm out of luck for now.
Save save save. We put money into savings every month, $500. But..lately, and of course because that's just life, every time it starts building up, something happens and we clear it out. Once it was the downpayment for DHs car, then it was just because we spent too much out of our checking account at once, now its the repairs for him scratching and denting his car on the garage. There's always something, and I understand that, it just again...keeps us from being comfortable with TCC. I just want to build it up a little!
Looking forward to:
A few weddings we have coming up next year, my family vacation this summer, and another happy and healthy year of marriage.
Goals:
Get down to 140 lbs. Its not an ideal weight, but with big boobs and big hips its the lowest I can go without starving myself.
Finding either a job that makes me happy or a way to be happy at the job I am at
Stop spending money on stupid crap.
Save up for a new house that isn't located next to the ghetto. Seriously, I'm so sick of smelling pot when I drive down my street! (If you had told me that I would say that 5 years ago I wouldn't have believed you).
Looking forward to: Watching Hunter grow up - the first year of life seems like the most drastic - I can't wait to see him figure out the world!
Goals: Implemeting money management techniques (Dave Ramsey, etc.), to eat healthier and start bringing my lunch to work more, exploring the home buying process.
Looking forward to: Continuing the TTC process (and hopefully succeeding), and enjoying our 2nd year of marriage with (hopefully) less stress than the first one. Watching my husband "grow up" LOL
I hope that our board continues going strong through 2010 and beyond, you guys are great.
Goals: have a baby (does that count as a goal? it's more like a dream), get settled in WA and start establishing some family traditions, save up enough for a big downpayment on a house
Looking forward to: moving to WA! my best friend's wedding in July, hopefully having a baby, NOLA!
