Anyone still Christmas shopping?

I still have over half of my Christmas shopping to do! I do usually wait until Black Friday to start my Christmas shopping but I usually have everything done by the second weekend in December at the latest. I usually love to shop for presents and really like being at the stores during Christmas time and look at all the decorations and hear the Christmas music.

This year is completely different and I can't put my finger on it. I'm just not excited to shop for Christmas presents and as a result I still have over half of my Christmas shopping to complete! I guess this weekend with be a power-shopping weekend. I can't believe Christmas is in 10 days!

You aren't the only one! I usually am really good with coming up with gifts for my family. This year, I'm frantically shopping online to get the free shipping (amazon is my friend). I hate this!! It's taking all the fun out of Christmas. I'm starting in January for next year!

I actually just finished mine last Friday, except for my mom. We're not celebrating with her until after January 10th, so I'm not in a rush on that one!

I did all of my shopping online this year, I just couldn't bring myself to deal with the mall hassle. Got much better prices, too!

I bought my first present last night... yes my first. I am struggling to find the Christmas spirit this year. I am not sure what it is, but if I can get rid of the scrooge soon it will definitely help the wallet and the stres of shopping next week.

I am not finished yet. I have to get 1 or 2 things for my mom and a lot of items for DH. I am off next week so I am planning on spending all day on Wednesday finishing my shopping. Monday and Tuesday I am going to wrap everything I have so far.

I still have quite a few small gifts to get and I have NOTHING for either of my parents yet. I just started my shopping last Saturday!! I am not in the mood this year either and I am getting a little more like scrooge each day because I can't find gifts for my parents and it's annoying me!!!

It's my first Christmas without my mother, and not to be a Debbie Downer but it's hard to get into the spirit. That being said, i'm proud that I'm completely done with the hubby. He asked for some biggies...Wii, Beatles Rock Band and the new Beatles remastered disc set. I think he'll be pleased with Santa. She was very generous this year.

I've done very little shopping so far. I was out for a bit today but it just seems like there isn't anything exciting out there this year unless you're getting big electronics. Usually we find some nice sweaters for my mom but this year everything is so boring.

It also doesn't help that I've been unemployed for over 4 months now... Sad

We are! hehe We still have about 5 people's gifts to get yet and I just can't find the motivation to do it. I feel so lazy and unmotivated this year. I know we need to get on the ball. Maybe we will try and have this all wrapped up by the end of this coming weekend. You are not alone!! GL!
