I work with bimbos

Seriously, there are 2 that I just want to b!tchslap into next week.  They're both about 22, blonde little tartlets.  One is a single mom who is SO proud of herself for making it to her senior year before getting knocked up out of wedlock - because for 3 generations back EVERY SINGLE MEMBER of her family was a parent by 16.

They both came over Friday to look at kittens.  Single mom wanted one for her DD.  She literally THREW a kitten across the garage because it squirmed when she was holding it.  She was sitting there telling this 5 year old "you have to clean it's poop, you have to feed it, you have to do everything, I'm not touching it."  I suggested she think about it over night, because I wasn't sure she was a good fit for our kitten.  She never called back.

The company party was Saturday night - no one told me about it until Friday, so I didn't go.  All I have heard all week is how druuuuuuuunk they got.  "OMG, I remember eating, but what happened after?" giggle giggle ALL DAY LONG.  Honey, if you've got to brag about how drunk you were, you weren't drunk enough.

Yesterday the non-single mom one handed out Christmas cards to every one else in the office but me.  Um, thanks.  And she wasn't discreet about it, she wrote them out at her desk.

Then tonight we had the department party at one of the loan offier's houses.  GORGEOUS house, incredibly decorated.  Single mom and another single mom from the department brought their demon spawn.  These kids literally climbed up the side of the fireplace, had their transformers kick baby Jesus' @ss, ran around screaming, etc.  And the two moms said "Oh, they're just so good..."  I could not get out of there fast enough.

Re: I work with bimbos

  • oh no!  What tardos.  And I can't stand parents who let their kids run amok.  It's dangerous!

  • They sound horrible.

  • UGH!   Just reading about it makes me cringe!!!

I can't stand people who thrive on getting drunk like that... or let their kids run around someone else's home! ugh...

  • Biitches! Especially the one that handed out cards to everyone BUT you.
  • Biitches is right!  I can't stand people like that.  I cringed when I read the part about letting their kids run amok--that's one of my biggest pet peeves!  I can't believe the one woman didn't even have the decency to give you a Christmas card even though she handed them out to everyone else...what a Biitch!

I lol'd at the bolded part. I always told my friends this is college.

The italics part, I am sorry you work with b!tches. I feel your pain though. Our admin for our department gave out Christmas cards to everyone at our site except me. Some of them she doesn't even interact with. And she sits right behind me, so I saw her give them and heard tons come and thank her. Oh well.

^^ My theory is kill people with kindness. I went and bought a little gift set at Walmart for her and am giving it to her Friday. It's my last day before I leave for Christmas, so she has no chance to give back and can be pissed that she was rude and I was kind Devil.

I'd suggest you doing something to this affect, but from the sounds of these winners, they would just talk sh!t about you and how you want to be their friends and miss the point entirely.

Ditto. How dull are they? I'm sorry you have to work with such freak shows. I may hate my job sometimse, but I'm lucky I have good coworkers - FINALLY. Every other job I've had, my coworkers have disliked me for no reason. It sucks, but I always just tried to be neutral towards them and focus on my work.

Ugh, the giggling would KILL me.

  • uuuuuuuugh  that sucks :(

That was very very rude of the co worker who gave cards to everyon but you. Yeah you are the new girl, but seriously. didnt we all learn in elementary school you give one to every one or none at all.

  • Ick! I'm glad she didn't take a kitten. . . And I'm sorry you have to deal with that bull!
