Need your nestie dust, prayers.. what ever you got

One of my lifelong friends just told me she found a lump in her breast yesterday. She has an ultra sound scheduled for Thursday and although she is feeling optimistic about everything a little extra dust or prayers couldn't hurt. She is only 29 and has two kiddos under 3. Unfortunately she lives in St.Louis so I cant be by her side so need to send as much love her way as possible. Thank you in advance.

Re: Need your nestie dust, prayers.. what ever you got

  • You and your friend are in my prayers. I know exactly what she  is going through.  I have lumps in mine and have an ultrasound every 6 months because I have a family history of breast cancer and cysts etc... but they have all been normal.  I know the fear of going in there and waiting for the answer that time you are alone is the worst.

    Hugs!

    Amy

  • Sending dust your way -- I am sure she will be fine. I've found three lumps on my own in the past 4 years and they turned out to be benign growths, which are fairly common in women in their childbearing years. It's good she's getting it checked out, though. I ended up having each of mine removed just so I wouldn't have to think about it/feel it sitting there.
  • scary, scary!  Lots of dust coming her way!
