OUR 1st SALE!!!
I am so EXCITED!!!! Yesterday we made our 1st sale. After handing out samples of our home roasted coffee and sending out gift baskets to potential customers for the holidays, we made our 1st official sale.
Someone we gave a sample to loved the coffee so much that he asked if he could buy a bag (we do not go live until January, late in the month at that). We had some inventory still while we wait for our new roaster, so we sold him a pound.
^^ I took tons of pictures of DH making the sale and him holding our 1st monies =D

How exciting, congratulations!!
How did you guys get into the coffee biz?
DH is a cook and loves coffee. So we decided that would be our business. We've always wanted to have our own business and work at it together. We are slowly making out dream come true.
That's our motif. We are a Steampunk/Victorian Cafe. Did you see my Halloween costume? My H, our business partner(BP), and I were all dressed in business theme. I'm supposed to be an airship pilot, Dh is a Victorian gentleman, and BP is a steampunk alchemist.
Right now a cafe isn't the right thing for us, so we are just roasting and selling our coffee. Once we get our name out, we are going to open a cafe with all steampunk motif.
This is our roaster, we get it in January.
