Hopefully I can explain better now that P is down for a nap. Basically each month the doc wants babies reach a milestone, but because P came out 5 weeks early, technically she's really only a 1 month 3 week old. So if there is a milestone that she hasn't reached for a 3 month old, it's because she's really not there yet.
That's what the ladies on the preemie board has explained to me. The weird thing is that she is tracking really really well, she's pretty much holding her head up in the bumbo, the only thing is that she's not lifting her head up when she's doing tummy time. So i'm not 100% sure if it applies to P because she has reaching many milestones like a full term baby.
Hopefully that makes more sense.
