What chain pharmacy do you use?
I usually shop CVS, but when I was sick I took my prescription to Target and it cost me $44 for an inhaler (for which I had a $50 coupon!), antibiotic and cough syrup... I'm thinking CVS is about half that price- the inhaler would have been free or maybe $10 at most @ CVS with that coupon, then the antibiotic would have been like $5, and the antibiotic probably would have been $10---
So, what pharmacy do you use- because I'm thinking the Super Target might just have slightly elevated prices because they put their meds in pretty bottles with fun labels and a color coding system for the family, lol.
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time.

Re: What chain pharmacy do you use?
We never really have any medications to fille but in the few instances that we have, I go to CVS.
Do you pay an insurance copay for your prescriptions? If so, it doesn't matter where you go. It will be the same everywhere your insurance is contracted. For example, your insurance might not allow you to go to CVS which is why you paid so much but is then contracted with Target where you'll then get your lower copay on your RX's.
Generally speaking, the larger the chain, the cheaper the prices because they can buy in huge bulk amounts that are cheaper per pill which the savings are then passed on to the stores then the customer. But this is only for non-copay paying customers. For non-copay paying customers, I'd actually recommend Sam's Club, Costco or Wal-Mart.
My doctor always give me samples which is nice. The last time he didn't have a sample for me but he did give me a coupon good for my first 10 fills of the med at a zero copay. So always ask for samples or coupons - the reps ALWAYS drop them off to the doctors.
Hope this helps!
Ahh I didn't even consider my insurance wasn't covering at Target--- because CVS has always seemed cheaper than other pharmacies... great thought- hello lightbulb moment!
I don't have Sam's Club- but I took a little walk through the other day and might join... I have Costco which I love, so maybe I'll just use them next time--- I was just being lazy and sick and didn't want to drive far to a pharmacy- so I paid the price for laziness, lol!
