What do you want for Christmas?
Re: What do you want for Christmas?
I want too many things, of course. But I wouldn't mind a replacement Nike+.
and an I- touch so that I can keep track of my Weight Watchers points online.
and I need some kind of sandals that can be worn over tights (similar color as shoe)... I'm trying to rock this pleated crop pants look with tights, and I saw a girl wearing strappy-type shoes with this look in Lucky. I don't know, I think I'm trying to be more of a fashionista than I am. But I already bought the pleated crop pants, and had them altered, so I can't return them. Now I have to make them worth it!
I'm not getting all this stuff, but a girl can dream...
A Kindle (won't be getting that)
A digital SLR (won't be getting that, either)
A crockpot (this might happen)
And this http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?source=family&itemId=17019
which my DH better get for me, if he knows what's good for him
I will come clean your house for you, seriously. I would have killed for someone to do that for me.
A 5D Mark II of my own because my husband doesn't ever share his.
I had been planning on buying this for myself early this year after getting back a pension refund from Japan but getting the refund took longer than expected and we're also putting off equipment purchases until 2010 for tax purposes. So....it may be a little late but this is something that I'm definitely getting for Christmas!
And the other thing I want for Christmas this year....
SNOW!! Yeah, totally unlikely to happen but it would be so much fun to enjoy a white Christmas for a change!
Since I have been going under tremedous stress and anxiety these days. I'm hoping to get a little R & R for Christmas this year. I would love a package to get me some of these
or a package to do a little of this:
Ahhhhhh!!!!

I want a pedicure, a pregnancy massage, and a new hairstyle. I would be really surprised if anyone got me the first two (I don't ask for stuff, so they'd have to just *know*), and the latter will likely have to wait for the baby to arrive.
But I'm really looking forward to our Kauai trip in early January, which DH's and my main gift to each other.
I am a complete NPR junkie & their show "Wait! Wait! Don't Tell Me!" is coming to NOLA to film an episode. I would love to see a live taping so maybe Santa will bring me tickets!

those necklaces are WAY too cute!!! I hope they still make them when I have a little one.
We love this show too! It's hilarious on the radio so I can only imagine how much more fun it'd be to see it live. I hope Santa brings you those tickets!
I reeeeeeeally want one of these (not gonna happen this year, but it's the dream - my goal is to get it before the Pirates are born):
Alternately, I'd also take this one, if I stick with Canons.
The more realistic one is a bunch of knitting stuff, because I've decided to turn into a granny and take up knitting lol:
All I want are a GC for maternity clothes (likely that I'll get this) and a GC for a massage (unlikely, unfortunately).
I got some presents already (IL's and I exchanged gifts at Thanksgiving since i won't see them) and I got a fine mesh sieve for rinsing quinoa among other things. The sieve was the only thing out of that bunch that I actually wanted. Oh wait, I got a crockpot as well. I did really want that, too.
DH gave me my present early since he didn't want to bring it up to Canada with declaring it at customs and all. It's a griddle, which I really wanted so we could make buckwheat or oatmeal pancakes at the table, rather than DH making them on the stove and cursing every 5 seconds.
The sucky thing is, all of that will stay down in the US with him since I really don't have room for it up here. I just get ot use it when I visit him.
I really hope someone will get me a milk foamer thingy (except I'll be using it for soymilik) so I can make some soymilk green tea/chai/earl grey latte's at home!
Yeah, my gifts are all pretty lame
Is it possible Santa could hook up a job for me? THANKS
I had issues coming up with ideas for my parents this year. I did ask for a gym membership, but we went ahead and signed up so i'm hoping my mom hooks us up for the rest of the year.
A trip!! To anywhere........
Not lame at all! I REALLY want a griddle!
ooh, yay. you can knit super cute baby blankets, hats, booties, longies...
better do so before the pirates arrive
i've been obsessed with knitting for a few months now. let me know if you have questions re getting started. also, check out ravelry.com - lots of free patterns, forums, comments on different kinds of yarn, etc. it's my biggest time suck - moreso than TN! (especially b/c i've been lurking more than posting these days
) if you do create a ravelry account (which i highly, highly recommend!), let me know what your username is, so i can stalk your knitting projects

I'm getting a 5DMkII but it's not really a Christmas gift. Though, I'd be happy to have it as that. We earned it through a casino promotion. (LisaK, we ordered it but no notification that it shipped yet! Gah!)
Snow would be nice, too! It snowed in parts of Vegas last week but not at our house and it didn't stick except in the mountains.
B & I decided to set a $20 limit for Christmas this year so I have no idea what I want or what to get him. There's nothing I really want for $20. Except maybe this:
HAHAHA. Seriously, though. I want it.

OMG, this cracks me up!!
Hehe cute
You guys make me wanna knit. I think I'll pick it up when I'm on maternity leave (cuz before that, I'm slaving away as a code monkey), but I hope to get to it sooner so I actually will have something done before the baby comes...
I really want these (but too expensive):
Got this:
Also, I asked for a vacation to here:
Hawaii Baby...
I want:
1) Roomba (because I hate cleaning and this will allow me to never vaccum again haha)
2) New boots
3) New purse... but only if they come out with a color i like
Now THIS is awesome!
santa baby...there;s one thing i really do need....okay my number one wish but probably wont get....
I am obsessed with this bag-i have a green snakeskin one from a few years ago and want this soooooooo badly. but as we are in a recession it most likely wont happen.
it is possible that there may be some more black pearls for me and a girl can never have too many black pearls.
i would also love some skin tightening laser treatments for my almost 40 year old (YIKES) face
WOW. This is the kind of thing I always wish I could pull off. Unfortunately, I invariably look ridiculous when I carry something like this. Love the bold design though!
