Crap.
Just called the vet..
Carter ate a diaper - I was changing Hunter on the ground and didn't realize Carter had run off with the diaper. That was this afternoon and I thought I caught it in time that Carter had just played with it and not eaten any of the contents.
Now he's lethargic, got a rock hard belly and is acting like he does when he gets rawhide blocked in there. The vet called us back and said just to watch him and make sure he's not vomiting and that he's peeing and pooping (which he is). I have an appointment in the morning so say lots of T&P that Carter sh!ts out whatever he managed to swallow and we don't have to go through the scary dog-stomach-blocked routine that we do like once a year.

DH and I were just talking about dogs eating diapers last night. I guess he's right in that they think it's a tasty treat.
I hope Carter's ok! I think as long as he can get food down and then have it come back out the other end like normal then he's ok. Our dog has eaten a wide variety of things, and I'm sure I'll have a post like this one day.
I truly hope Carter's ok! although when I first read it, I was amused... Then again, our dog would eat anything, so... sorry I laughed...
T&P to Carter and let's hope the vet bill isn't horrible!
